2. Brian Daboll – Bills offensive coordinator

It’s a bit perplexing that Brian Daboll hasn’t yet been hired for a head coaching stint yet given what he’s done. But if the Vikings are smart and want to enter a new era as they should, they need to be the team to reach out and give the current Bills offensive coordinator his first shot at being the top guy on the coaching staff.

The job Daboll has done over the past few years building with and around Josh Allen on that side of the ball has been nothing short of remarkable. Yes, the quarterback has made individual strides, without question, but his offensive play-caller has helped to put him in advantageous positions to maximize the signal-caller’s immense bag of tools.

Joining the Vikings would be like a field day for Daboll with all the weapons he has to work with. Sure, Kirk Cousins isn’t an elite quarterback but he is certainly a strong enough player that Daboll could put him in the right spots to succeed, especially with Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen there with him.
