36. . 3-5. Previous: . Seattle Seahawks. 18. team

A year ago, the Seahawks finished 12-4 and won the NFC West. Seven games into 2021, Pete Carroll’s club has already lost more regular-season games than last season. But the team would make easy work of the struggling Jaguars.

Geno Smith was back at quarterback and was very efficient, hitting on 20-of-24 throws for 195 yards and two scores (both to D.K. Metcalf) while running for another TD. Tyler Lockett caught 12 passes for 142 yards.

60. . 3-4. Previous: . Minnesota Vikings. 17. team

The Purple Gang had an opportunity to climb above the .500 mark if they could cool off the Cowboys on Sunday night. And Mike Zimmer’s offense got off to a great start as the Vikings took an early 7-0 lead.

But Kirk Cousins and company settled for three field goals the rest of the way and finished the evening with only 278 total yards. The team came up with two takeaways and played turnover-free ball but couldn’t make the big plays when it counted.

16. team. 53. . 4-4. Previous: . Cleveland Browns

After sitting out the team’s Thursday night clash with the Broncos in Week 7, battered Baker Mayfield was back at the controls for his club as they hosted the Steelers. He was sacked four times in the first half and the NFL’s No. 1 running team entering Week 8 was limited to 96 yards on the ground by game’s end.

Kevin Stefanski’s team was limited to a season-low 10 points. The Browns have been limited to 17 or fewer points in three straight games.
