RB, Eagles. Boston Scott. 2.. player. 54. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis.

With Miles Sanders (ankle) on IR, Scott took over as the Eagles lead back in Week 8 (sad trombone for those who started Kenneth Gainwell, only to watch him get one carry in the first three quarters).

An easy matchup against the Detroit Lions has to be noted, but production (12 carries for 60 yards and two touchdowns) is production, and Nick Sirianni kicked over the rock Scott had been under all season when Sanders was injured in Week 7 (seven carries for 24 yards and a touchdown).

It’s worth noting Jordan Howard also had two rushing touchdowns (and 12 carries for 57 yards) against the Lions, in a 44-6 win that wasn’t a contest from the start. And in a broad sense, it can be easier to like Gainwell’s rest-of-season outlook whether Sanders is healthy or not. But Scott probably isn’t going anywhere for at least two more games while Sanders is on IR.

While Gainwell is available in a chunk of leagues himself, Scott being more widely available and on an upward trend puts him here for Henry’s fantasy managers to consider.
