4. WR Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans (vs. Miami Dolphins)

Brandin Cooks is 4th in the NFL in catches (51), 7th in targets (70), and10th in yards (585). He’s been elite both in real life football and fantasy football. The Texans’ offense has run through him so far in 2021, and barring a last-minute trade from Houston, his production isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Cooks gets a Miami Dolphins’ defense that is 30th in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. They are 31st in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game with 291.1. Stats don’t tell the whole story, and these are two bad teams who both have bad defenses that will be facing off in a likely competitive game. Cooks is going to see plenty of opportunity.

With his ability to get open in the short, intermediate, and deep sections of the field, Cooks will be a WR2 this week regardless of who’s playing quarterback for Houston.
