Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George needed to cool himself down after hitting a three-pointer against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Los Angeles Clippers just earned their second win of the season this past Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, thanks to a 32-point performance by Paul George. On Wednesday night, George was showing off his shooting abilities from behind the three-point line.
At one point in the third quarter of Wednesday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, George hit a step-back 3-pointer to extend Los Angeles’ lead to 80-72. The Clippers star actually had to cool himself off, because he was on fire.

George was 4-for-8 from behind the arc on Wednesday night. While it was a solid night, he was nowhere near as effective as his teammates, Reggie Jackson (7-for-9) and Nicolas Batum (6-for-8). The Clippers won 126-115.
In 36 minutes of playing time, George scored 32 points, eight assists, six rebounds, one block and one steal.
Entering this game, George was averaging 28.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.3 steals while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 41.1 percent from the 3-point line.
George will look to help the Clippers extend their winning streak and continue their climb up the Western Conference standings on Friday night when they host the Timberwolves at Staples Center.
