1. DeSean Jackson

Of course, it had to be DeSean Jackson. After the wide receiver mutually parted ways with the Los Angeles Rams prior to the trade deadline, he instantly became a target for any team looking to add a talented free-agent receiver.

Jackson’s time with the Rams was brief, he had eight catches for 221 yards and a touchdown, but he still had the opportunity to display his game-breaking over-the-top speed that kills defenses. Even at 34 years old, Jackson has wheels. Over the last four years, he’s averaged over 18 yards per depth of target, per Pro Football Reference, and adds a completely different dimension to every offense.

With the Saints, Jackson would still be a dependable No. 2 receiver beside Marquez Callaway and would draw more than a handful of targets per game. Jackson is a hot commodity and will likely draw a lot of attention from other contending teams, most notably the Kansas City Chiefs, who are still within touching distance of the playoffs.

However, Jackson would make a splash on a very fun team, who despite all odds, are currently 5-2 and aiming to make the playoffs without a host of important players. New Orleans could be the perfect landing spot.
