Denver’s pass defense has trouble with Dak Prescott

The Broncos pass defense is going to be in for a tough fight against the Cowboys offense. Dallas showed this past week that they can even win without quarterback Dak Prescott under center. Backup Cooper Rush managed to throw for 325 yards in the win against the Vikings. With an offense including Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Schultz, that is a dream lineup for any quarterback.

All signs are pointing to Prescott returning to the lineup on Sunday after missing time due to a calf injury. That will be bad news for the Broncos.

This season, Prescott threw for 1,813 yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 73.1-percent of his passes. Even though the Broncos have the 10th-best pass defense in the league (224.9 passing yards allowed per game), stopping Prescott will be a problem. After all, he has all of those receiving options to target, Elliott to lean upon and an offensive line that has only allowed 12 sacks through seven games.

Safe to say that the Broncos will surrender 400 passing yards to Prescott.
