Tre’Quan Smith goes back-to-back weeks with a touchdown

Wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith missed the first six weeks of the 2021 season after being placed on injured reserve for a hamstring injury. In his season debut in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks, Smith was seen getting into a sideline disagreement with Winston. But this past Sunday was a much better game for the wideout.

Facing the Buccaneers, Smith was caught all three of his targets for 33 yards and a touchdown. The score came on a 16-yard pass from Winston to tie the game at seven points apiece in the first quarter.

Smith is now scheduled to face a Falcons defense that has allowed 15 receiving touchdowns so far this season, which is the sixth-most in the league. With that statistic, Smith stands to have a good chance of scoring a touchdown this Sunday, regardless of who is throwing him the football.
