Anthony Dirrell wipes out Marcos Hernandez with round 4 TKO (Video)
Anthony Dirrell definitely scored the knockout of the night on the Canelo Alvarez vs. Caleb Plant undercard. His uppercut shook Marcos Hernandez bad.
Former two-time super middleweight champion Anthony Dirrell didn’t look like he was 37 years old on Showtime’s undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs. Caleb Plant. He landed one of the best punches of his career and put Marcos Hernandez out.
Dirrell (34-2-2, 25 KOs) came to the ring dressed in Michigan State attire. The fighter originally from Flint, MI, had better luck than Sparty on Nov. 6. He clipped Hernandez (15-5-2, 3 KOs) on the jaw with a wind-up right hook that looked like it started from his knees.
Hernandez hit the ground and got to his feet but was out on his feet. The referee called a stop to the fight giving Dirrell the round 4 TKO.

Dirrell told FanSided that he would highly consider retirement if he doesn’t get the winner of Alvarez vs. Plant. He likely won’t get the winner, but he might stick around boxing after his excellent knockout victory.
