10 WR sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 9
2. Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns
The Browns released Odell Beckham Jr. Friday morning after a rapidly fast fallout around the trade deadline. This leaves Jarvis Landry as the unquestioned number one wideout in Cleveland, making him a solid fantasy play every week.
Landry is coming off of a 10 target, 5 catch, 65 yard game against Pittsburg and will look to keep it going in another tough matchup against the Bengals this week. He’s a solid WR2.
1. Marvin Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars
Marvin Jones leads Jacksonville in receiving on the year, catching 33-of-54 targets for 378 yards and three touchdowns on the year so far. He’s been the veteran receiver that rookie Trevor Lawrence needs.
He’ll continue playing at a high level and being a fantasy contributor as the Jags will likely be throwing the entire game, meaning only good things for Jones as he has WR2 upside this week.
