2. David Culley – Houston Texans

In all fairness, David Culley is in his first season and he was never set up to succeed, so it’s tough to truly justify firing him right this instant, but he should definitely be on the hot seat. That said, just about everyone associated with the Houston Texans should be doing what they can to prove they deserve their jobs right now, and that includes Culley.

The Texans are floundering right now. After starting the year with a nice, pleasant win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston has struggled considerably since then.

Most recently, the Texans lost to the Miami Dolphins, extending Houston’s losing streak to eight games.

That’s horrendous.

The Texans forced five turnovers against the Dolphins, who also happen to be among the league’s worst teams, and yet Houston couldn’t ever seem to find the end zone, settling for field goal attempt after field goal attempt in an atrocious 17-9 loss.

Again, Culley probably deserves another season to prove himself because he also deserves a better franchise, but it’s hard to see the Texans finding any way to win in the relatively near future. It’s a shame that Culley will get caught up in all of that, but some major changes need to happen soon if this team ever hopes to win again.
