NFL Twitter went off on the Los Angeles Rams for a miserable first-half showing against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday Night Football.

The scriptwriters for the NFL decided that Week 9 was going to flip all the narratives on their head.

The teams that had looked the strongest going into the week all ended up being humbled in one way or another. The Cowboys got blown out by the Broncos. The Bills lost to the Jaguars. The Saints and Raiders lost to the Falcons and Giants.

Considering all that had happened earlier in the day, what went down in the first half of Sunday Night Football made a lot more sense.

The Rams, one of the hottest teams in the league, got smacked around by the Titans, who forced Matthew Stafford into critical turnovers and took a 21-6 lead into halftime.

NFL Twitter gave the Rams a beating for falling behind to the Titans

Social media had all sorts of comments about Los Angeles getting smoked on their home field.

The Titans came into this game 6-2, so they are no scrubs. The idea of them besting the Rams on the road isn’t all that unbelievable. It’s the way it all went down with Stafford looking so rattled at times.

However it turns out, Tennessee seems to have embraced the idea of being underrated while LA has some things to work out if they want to truly be a contender.
