Winners of four straight games, the Rams hosted the Derrick Henry-less Titans in prime time. Sean McVay’s club jumped out to a 3-0 lead. But quarterback Matthew Stafford would throw interceptions on consecutive plays and suddenly the club was down 14-3 in the second quarter.

The deficit would grow to 18 points by intermission. Los Angeles finally reached the end zone late in the final quarter. Stafford would be sacked five times by game’s end.

The Ravens returned to the field after an off week and hosted the Vikings. John Harbaugh’s squad found itself down 14-3 early in the second quarter and 24-10 just 13 seconds into the third quarter.

Baltimore came back to take a 31-24 lead but Minnesota would force overtime. Lamar Jackson had a big day despite two interceptions – throwing for 266 yards and three scores and ran for 120 yards. And Justin Tucker kicked the game winner again.

The reigning Super Bowl champions were surprised last week at New Orleans as Tampa defense struggled to get pressure on both Jameis Winston and eventually Trevor Siemian.

Ageless Tom Brady has led the club to a 6-2 start and has thrown 25 touchdown passes compared to only five interceptions for Bruce Arians’ dangerous squad. The Buccaneers are among the NFL leaders with 14 takeaways. And Shaq Barrett has 5.5 of the team’s 17 sacks.
