If the Rock were to return to WWE for one final match, who should he face?

The jabroni-beating, pie-eating, industry-leading, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment: It is time that The Rock finally comes back to the WWE.

The WWE is no stranger to bringing in legends to wrestle and add value to cards throughout the year. Goldberg, Kurt Angle, and even Shawn Michaels have all been brought back to sell tickets and get network subscriptions.

However, The Rock has not returned to a WWE ring for a match since 2013. He has been used for promos and for helping promote talent like Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey, but he has not had a sanctioned WWE match since his match against John Cena at Wrestlemania 29.

The Rock is an international superstar now, spending his days now as Dwayne Johnson who makes millions in Hollywood. It is no surprise that he and the WWE would hesitate to book a match, given the potential risk it could pose to his career.

Despite this risk, The Great One appears to be open to returning to the ring for one more match.

In a dream world, though, who would that one match for The Rock be against?

5. Bobby Lashley

The final two names on this list are extremely predictable, so to keep things interesting the first few names on the list will be from completely different schools of thought.

When the WWE has brought back legends the last few years, it has not been to put over younger talent and create new stars, but to put together matches that would attract the lapsed and casual wrestling fan.

Is that a smart decision? Probably not. Does Vince McMahon care? No.

Bobby Lashley is a big name in both the MMA and wrestling circles and has proven to be a great draw. Putting him in a match with a The Rock could sell out a stadium, and the WWE could use this for a big show.
