Aaron Rodgers says ‘small possibility’ he won’t play vs. Seahawks

Aaron Rodgers may miss the Packers’ game against the Seahawks this Sunday
Last Wednesday, Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19. Because Rodgers is unvaccinated, a fact Rodgers’ tried to hide, he is required to be inactive for at least 10 days. He can then only be cleared to return to the field if he has tested negative, is showing no symptoms of COVID-19, and is cleared by an independent doctor.
Rodgers missed the Packers’ Week 9 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs as part of this protocol but would have the possibility of returning for Week 10.
On Tuesday’s episode of The Pat Mcafee Show, Rodgers gave his second interview since his positive test and vaccination status became public. In it, he expanded on many of his arguments from his interview on Friday. He also touched on his availability for the Packers’ upcoming game.
Rodgers said there is a possibility, "a small possibility" that he won't play against Seattle. He said he has to be tested to see how his heart responds to heavy work. Said he's been doing some walking and yoga and will pick up his conditioning.

Jordan Love would start against the Seahawks if Rodgers remains inactive
Jordan Love made his first NFL start this past Sunday in the Packers’ losing effort to the Kansas City Chiefs. If Rodgers were inactive, Love would also get called up for the start against the Seattle Seahawks. The Packers are sitting uncontested atop of the NFC North, but their spot atop the NFC playoff picture was lost with that loss to the Chiefs. The Packers likely will need Rodgers to return if they want to regain that top spot.
The Seahawks will likely be getting their own starting quarterback this weekend as Russell Wilson finishes up his recovery and returns to the practice field.
