4. CeeDee Lamb will go over 150 yards receiving

Lamb was limited to just 2 catches for 23 yards in last week’s loss to Denver. Rest assured that everyone on the offensive coaching staff will be determined to make him a bigger point of emphasis this week.

It’s also highly likely that the Falcons will deploy A.J. Terrell against Amari Cooper on a high percentage of snaps. That’s going to leave Fabian Moreau matched up on Lamb more often than not. Lamb has too much athleticism for Moreau to compete with on deep and intermediate routes.

That’s why Lamb is going to be poised for a big day. He’ll lead the Cowboys’ receiving corps in targets, catches, and yards. One big play will push him over the 150-yard receiving mark. A lot of his production will come at the expense of Cooper, but it will still be a net positive for the Dallas passing attack.

Much of Lamb’s work is going to be done in the first half before Atlanta decides to shade their safeties in his direction. By the time the Falcons make that adjustment it will be too late. Lamb is in line for a big day against this secondary.
