3. Aaron Rodgers will return and start at quarterback

Any Seahawks fan hoping to face Love at quarterback this week is set to be sorely disappointed. The NFL may choose to fine Rodgers for his shady behavior regarding COVID protocols, but the chances of the league levying a suspension against such a high-profile player are pretty remote.

That’s why the odds strongly favor Rodgers being under center when his team’s Week 10 game kicks off. The week of rest might actually work in the future Hall-of-Famer’s favor in the long haul. That’s bad news for a Seahawks defense that will be working feverishly to keep him under wraps on Sunday.

The more interesting question is just how many times LaFleur will let Rodgers throw the ball. The head coach’s natural tendency will be to lean more heavily on the run game coming after such an ugly loss. That kind of conservatism won’t sit well with Rodgers.

The smart money suggests that Green Bay will try to run the ball early before putting the game on Rodgers’ in the fourth quarter. Bet against the talented signal-caller at your own peril.
