Jared Goff will throw multiple interceptions

The other side of the turnover coin is with Lions quarterback Jared Goff. The former Los Angeles Ram has thrown four interceptions to just one touchdown in his last four games while accumulating a passer rating of 73.2.

In Goff’s defense, he doesn’t exactly have a who’s who of receiving talents. Tight end T.J. Hockenson is great and leads the team in just about every receiving category. Outside of Hockenson, though, there isn’t a solidified No. 1 receiver in the offense. Kalif Raymond, Quintez Cephus, Amon-Ra St. Brown- all good options to have in an offense, but not who you want as your preliminary receiving options.

Goff will have success finding Hockenson throughout the day. The Steelers have been bad at taking away tight ends, and their linebackers aren’t good in coverage. While Hockenson will rack up receptions, eventually Pittsburgh will key in on him and force Goff to go elsewhere. Add on the pressure he will be facing from the Steelers front seven, someone in the secondary will make a play. Terrell Edmunds is a guy to keep an eye on in those circumstances. He has been an underrated commodity on their defense playing opposite of Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Rookie Tre Norwood is a name to watch, as well. He has been a valuable depth piece for Pittsburgh this season, and is still looking for his first interception.
