3. Tim Patrick follows up on big game against Dallas

Tim Patrick may very well be one of the most underrated wide receivers in the game right now. If not underrated, he is definitely overlooked. He showed the world what he is capable in Dallas this past weekend.

The Broncos took an early lead against the Cowboys, but no one believed it would stand. They thought Dallas would eventually get ahead on the scoreboard and never go back. Those plans were dead as soon as Patrick got in the end zone.

In the early portion of the second quarter, Teddy Bridgewater looked downfield on second-and-six and found Patrick breaking away from Dallas cornerback Trevon Diggs. Bridgewater’s pass flew 44-yards right on the money to give the Broncos a 13-0 lead.

This week, Patrick is scheduled to take on an Eagles defense that has surrendered 16 touchdowns to wide receivers this season (tied sixth-most in NFL). Patrick got in the end zone in Dallas, and he will do the same in Denver this week.
