10 TE sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 10
By Jakob Ashlin
8. Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
Rostered: 55.3%
Hunter Henry has scored a touchdown in five out of his last six games.
His receptions and receiving yards have both dipped, however. He has not had more than two receptions in a game, since Week 5 against the Texans.
Nevertheless, his red-zone production is hard to ignore. Additionally, Jonnu Smith is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, so Henry could see a boost in targets this Sunday.
7. O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rostered: 2.6%
Rob Gronkowski did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, and he did not participate in Thursday’s practice. Instead, he was running off to the side.
Gronkowski is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, but he does not appear to be trending in the right direction. If Gronkowski is out, O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate should see increased roles.
Of the two players, Howard appears to be the better fantasy option. Brate had many opportunities to produce with Gronkowski out earlier this year, but he never scored a touchdown. In addition, he never even recorded 40+ receiving yards in a single game this season.
Howard had a great performance against the Eagles in Week 6 with Gronkowski sidelined; Howard had six receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown.
If Gronkowski is out, Howard has borderline TE1 upside.
