The Kansas Jayhawks pulled off the biggest upset in Big 12 history, and they decided to further pour salt in the wound of the Texas Longhorns.

The Texas Longhorns faced a 35-14 deficit on Saturday to the 1-8 Kansas Jayhawks, but found a way to force overtime. However, it was the Jayhawks that pulled off the biggest upset in Big 12 history, as they took the 57-56 “W.”

As if the night could not get any worse for Longhorns fans, the Jayhawks’ official Twitter account trolled them by using actor and diehard Texas fan Matthew McConaughey’s signature catchphrase while posting a photo with the final score.

Texas Longhorns fans have the worst night imaginable thanks to Kansas Jayhawks

We have a feeling that Longhorns fans are not feeling all right, all right, all right.

Kansas held as large as a 42-21 lead in the third quarter, but quarterback Casey Thompson put the team on his back. Thompson threw four second-half touchdown passes,  including the one to Cade Brewer to send the game to overtime.

Even though Texas did score a touchdown in overtime, it was Kansas who got a score of their own. The Jayhawks went for two, and it worked, out, as quarterback Jalon Daniels hit fullback Jared Casey in the end zone to clinch the upset.

Not only did Kansas break their 56-game, Big 12 road drought, but they also had the largest spread in conference history as 31-point underdogs.

Longhorns fans will no doubt be going to bed angry after watching their team lose to a previously one-win team in overtime.
