Running Backs

Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals at Las Vegas Raiders-$7,600

Over three games heading into a Week 10 bye, Mixon had four rushing touchdowns with more than 90 total yards in the last two. Going back a little further, he has over 90 total yards and at least five targets in three of his last four games. He gets a solid matchup in Week 11.

Entering Week 11, the Las Vegas Raiders are a bottom-10 defense in fantasy points allowed to running backs. Running backs, even two in some games, have had notable success agains them throughout the season.

A week off was surely good for Mixon to rest any nagging injuries. Coming it at less than $8,000 on FanDuel, with a nice matchup, locks him  in here.

AJ Dillon, Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings-$7,000

With Aaron Jones (knee) exiting with a knee injury, Dillon had 21 carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns along with two receptions for 62 yards. Jones is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with a sprained MCL, so Dillon is lined up to be Green Bay’s workhorse back.

In Week 11, it’s a favorable matchup for Dillon. The Minnesota Vikings are allowing the third-most yards per carry in the league this season (4.7), and Dillon is in line for 20-25 carries with a few opportunities in the passing game on Sunday. The Vikings have allowed five total touchdowns to running backs, to five different backs, over their last two games. Dillon has Green Bay’s backfield work to himself while Jones is out–we call that consolidation.

Dillon is cheaper than he should be on FanDuel this week. The ROI is impossible to ignore.
