Flex: Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins at New York Jets-$6,700

Waddle topped 60 yards for the fourth time in his last five games in Week 10, and in the previous four he had double-digit targets three times. Two of those double-digit target outings were with Tua Tagovaila (finger injury) starting under center, and he’ll get the nod again Sunday against the New York Jets.

The Jets are only barely in the bottom half of the league against wide receivers. But as the defense has been gouged lately, the trend has moved to very favorable for the positiion against them.

With DeVante Parker and Will Fuller both on IR still, Waddle will get all the looks he can handle from Tagovailoa. That makes him a nice FanDuel flex for Weeek 11.

Team Defense: Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns-$3,500

With salary spent elsewhere, this week’s defense is a punt play. The Lions are coming of a solid defensive showing against Mason Rudolph and the Steelers in Week 10 though, allowing 16 points with three takeaways.

On Sunday Detroit will get the Browns on the road, with either an incredibly banged up Baker Mayfield or his backup Case Keenum under center. Running back Nick Chubb may be back off the COVID-19 list, but the Browns ran the ball solidly in Week 10 without him and it made no difference.

It projects to be a pretty low-scoring game in Cleveland on Sunday. So rather than pony up for the Browns’ defense at $5,000, I’m going to the opposite defense with a practical guarantee Detroit’s defense will do something.
