Every NFL stadium ranked from worst to best
4. U.S. Bank Stadium (Minnesota Vikings)
I absolutely adore this stadium. It’s easily the best indoor stadium in the NFL, which was proven by the fact that it’s only been open five years and has already hosted a Super Bowl.
The exterior design is great, with reflective glass panels in the middle and a slick charcoal gray balancing it out. The field itself is also gorgeous. The purple end zones on the lighter green turf balance each other incredibly well. If the roof is redacted, the light will hit the turf in a way that makes the purple end zones look three shades darker, which is awesome.
The Gallic script of the word “Vikings” is one of the better font-to-team relationships in the league, and looks really well done. This just fits the aesthetic of what you picture when you hear the name “Minnesota Vikings.” Plus, the place gets absurdly loud. Go back and watch the Minneapolis Miracle play- the crowd pop is addicting to rewatch as Stefon Diggs runs down the sideline as Joe Buck belts the words “Diggs. Sideline. Touchdown. Unbelievable. Vikings win it.”
The HHH Metrodome was great, but U.S. Bank is easily the superior Minnesota sports venue.
