22. Levi’s Stadium (San Francisco 49ers)

This is one of the newer stadiums in the NFL. The 49ers called Candlestick Park home for the longest time until they got new digs in 2014. Levi’s does have a sleek design. I enjoy the layout of the stands. It’s smaller than MetLife, but has a similar shape and layout to its lower seating.

This one, though, is another case of the on-field art just being very basic and plain. The logo at midfield is a good size, and I like the font used for “49ers” in the end zones. That said, more color is rarely a bad thing. Call me picky, but red end zones with “49ers” written in gold with a black accent would look great.

The 49ers fan base is a passionate one, though. While they haven’t had much home success in the past year, their fans are some of the best in the NFL. The history and lure of the franchise keeps this one from being a bit lower on the list. Levi’s Stadium was definitely an upgrade over the classic venue of Candlestick, but it’s one of the less impressive designs of all the newer stadiums around the league.
