23. Kevin Greene

It didn’t matter what team he played for-wherever Kevin Greene went, he made an impact. The former fifth round pick out of Auburn began the decade with the Los Angeles Rams. He totaled 13 sacks in 1990, but surprisingly didn’t get a Pro Bowl invite. In 1993, Greene left Los Angeles for the Steel City, where he is remembered for the most in terms of the teams he played for. He helped establish the Steelers defenses of the 1990s as one of the best in history.

In 1994, Greene had 14 sacks and earned his second Pro Bowl bid, as well as his first All-Pro selection. He left for Carolina in 1996, where he tallied another 14.5 sacks and was selected as an All-Pro for the second time.

Greene finished his career with 160 sacks. In total, he appeared in five Pro Bowls and on the two aforementioned All-Pro teams. He was selected as a member of the All-Decade team, and inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. He went on to become a coach following his playing days and won a Super Bowl as a member of the Green Bay Packers coaching staff in Super Bowl XLV, defeating the Steelers.
