6. Evan Engram, New York Giants

Rostered: 24.5%

Evan Engram has quietly posted double-digit fantasy points in three consecutive games. He has also scored a touchdown in back-to-back games; the last time Engram accomplished that feat was in 2017.

Engram has been difficult to trust in the past, but he is building some positive momentum. Furthermore, he will have an excellent matchup on paper against the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers defense has given up 59 receptions to tight ends this season, which is the fourth-most in the NFL.

He is a good streaming option in most leagues.

5. Adam Trautman, New Orleans Saints

Rostered: 3.6%

Over the first eight weeks of the season, Adam Trautman was a nonfactor in fantasy football leagues. He was fantasy’s TE54 overall with a total of 19.4 fantasy points.

That all changed once Trevor Siemian took over as the Saints’ quarterback. Here are Trautman’s statistics in Siemian’s two starts:

Week 9 vs. ATL: four receptions, 47 yards, seven targets

Week 10 @ TEN: five receptions, 32 yards, six targets

While those statistics are not mind-blowing, it is a huge improvement over his prior production, and the thirteen total targets are encouraging. Siemian clearly has more chemistry with Traumtan than Jameis Winston did.

Trautman could be in store for a breakout game this Sunday against the Eagles, who have struggled to contain tight ends.

The Eagles defense has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. In addition, they have allowed the most receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns to tight ends.
