7. Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders looked bad last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. The offense had trouble getting off the ground and the defense just got torched. The Raiders have been through one of the most tumultuous seasons in NFL history, and it’s starting to catch up to its on-field product. One thing that was positive was the play of Josh Jacobs, especially in the passing game.

Jacobs is trying to be the kind of running back that can burn defenses in multiple ways. He caught all five of his targets against the Chiefs. His yards output was atrocious, but making an impact through the air is what most fantasy owners care most about. This week, he’s facing the Cincinnati Bengals, which should be a much better matchup for him in multiple ways.

6. Eno Benjamin, Arizona Cardinals

James Conner is the top guy in Arizona this week. He’s one of the best starts in the NFL. However, his backup running back should be getting plenty of touches. Eno Benjamin didn’t get a ton of offensive snaps, but his output should go up this week.

The Seattle Seahawks run defense is atrocious. They allow 31 points per game to the running back position. That is plenty for Benjamin and Conner to split and both have a very good game on the ground. This is a deep sleeper for people in impossibly deep leagues or those looking to get an edge in daily fantasy. It could still be a nice week for Benjamin.
