Flex: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers vs. Minnesota Vikings-$6,300

Aiyuk has come alive in recent weeks, with at least seven targets in three of the last four games and at least six catches, more than 80 yards and a touchdown in two of the last three. Jimmy Garoppolo hasn’t thrown the ball a lot, but against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12 that may have to change some.

The Vikings enter Week 12 allowing the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers (FanDuel, Yahoo 0.5-point PPR). Even third in the pecking order for targets behind Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, there’s room for Aiyuk to produce this week and he’s more likely to find a favorable matchup with the attention on Samuel and Kittle.

Team Defense: Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants-$4,300

The Eagles’ defense has generally been playing better lately, and their Week 11 showing would look even better if not for some garbage time production by the Saints. Still, they have posted at least 11 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in three of their last four games.

In Week 12 Philadelphia gets a New York Giants’ offense that has scored more than 17 points once in their last five games. Skill position injuries have been a big factor there, but Daniel Jones has also been sacked 14 times in that five-game span. As some players have come back healthy, usage issues seem to be surfacing.

The Eagles’ defense is in a prime spot to succeed this week, and they are pretty cheap on FanDuel.
