4. A.J. Dillon will have more receiving yards than rushing yards

Aaron Jones’ status for this week’s game is still very much up in the air. That makes it a safe bet that Dillon will get a ton of work as Green Bay’s No. 1 running back again on Sunday.

Dillon’s rushing work was solid, but unspectacular against the Vikings. He only got 11 carries and produced a modest total of 53 yards on the ground. Interestingly, Dillon also managed to chip in with 6 catches for 44 yards in his team’s three-point loss.

The odds of Green Bay lining up and dominating the Rams’ defense on the ground are almost non-existent. That will force Dillon to find a way to produce more yards on his catches out of the backfield. He may not pop a big play on Sunday but he’ll be a crucial safety valve for Rodgers when he needs to get rid of the ball.

Dillon will definitely produce more yards per touch in the throw game than he will on the ground. When this game turns into a shootout he’s going to flash some solid receiving skills. Dillon will rack up more receiving yards than rushing yards in a strange offensive game for the Packers.
