2. Logan Thomas, Washington Football Team

Rostered: 49 percent

After a lengthy absence, Logan Thomas may finally return to the field for Washington’s Monday night matchup against the Seahawks. Thomas has been sidelined since Week 4 when he suffered a hamstring injury against the Falcons.

Washington designated Thomas to return from the IR, and he participated in Wednesday’s practice.

When healthy, Thomas is an elite fantasy tight end. Last season, Thomas had the fourth-most fantasy points among tight ends.

Thomas’s status should be monitored this weekend. If he is cleared to play on Monday, he will have TE1 upside.

1. Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers

Rostered: 60.7 percent

Since Week 6, Freiermuth has scored the fifth-most fantasy points among tight ends trailing only Travis Kelce, Zach Ertz, Mark Andrews, and Mike Gesicki.

Last week, he had four receptions for 11 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers. The 11 receiving yards marked his second-lowest single-game receiving yard total of the season, but the touchdown salvaged his performance.

Nevertheless, Freiermuth was targeted seven times last week, and he will continue to play a large role in Pittsburgh’s offense.

He should be rostered in all leagues.
