Josh Norman gets away with dirty play

The NFL has yet to punish Josh Norman for what looked to be a needless punch to the back of Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen. The obvious personal foul (with the benefit of replay) was not flagged in the moment, either, so we have to get on the officiating crew for this one.

Norman has a history of this, and it’s well-known throughout the league. At this point, officials should just have an eye on him at all times. Thielen and Norman entered a scrum at the same time, apparently fighting for the football. Neither came out the winner, but Norman did get one final shot in on Thielen, punching him for (as far as we know) no apparent reason.

The play by Norman was immediately flagged down by Vikings fans and anyone watching the game on social media, and for good reason.
