Noah Fant scores a touchdown this week

Ys, we know that last week we predicted that Noah Fant would put up 100 yards receiving against the Chargers. That, sadly, did not happen.

Fant was targeted four times against Los Angeles, where he caught three of them for a grand total of…12 yards. There was one Broncos tight end that did score a touchdown on the day. It was not Fant or Albert Okwuegbunam. Instead, it was Eric Saubert who caught his lone target for a one-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

This week, Fant stands a decent chance of scoring a touchdown for the first time since Week 6. The Chiefs have given up touchdowns to the opposition, including a five-game stretch from Weeks 4-8 to the likes of Dallas Goedert, Dawson Knox, Ricky Seals-Jones, MyCole Pruitt and Kyle Rudolph.

Sunday will be the day that Fant finally scores a touchdown. Even with Bridgewater is playing with a bad shin. If not, we continue the wishful thinking until he does.
