2. Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum run for a combined four touchdowns

Jim Harbaugh has assembled a very dangerous running back duo that has elevated the Wolverines throughout the season. Michigan fans should be grateful for the way that Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum have been able to consistently perform all season long.

Haskins has shown that he can be a steady contributor to a championship contender. He’s also demonstrated that he can be a dominant force against even some of the best teams in the country. This year, Haskins has run for 1,232 yards and 18 touchdowns on 5.0 yards per carry.

Against Ohio State, Haskins took it up a notch. The talented running back ran for 169 yards and five touchdowns off of 28 carries.

To go along with Haskins is another dominant running back, Corum. While Haskins has received more carries and has subsequently had more yards and touchdowns, what Corum has done this season has also been impressive and should concern any defense tasked with stopping him.

Corum has run for 865 yards and 10 touchdowns on 6.4 yards per carry. While he hasn’t had an amazing performance lately, he has four games in which he’s run for over 100 yards so far this season.

All that said, Corum has been dealing with an injury and has seen a reduction in playing time as of late. If he’s healthy enough to play, he can be a huge factor for the Wolverines. If he’s not, expect to see a ton of Haskins.
