10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 13
By Nick Villano
9. Jaret Patterson, Washington Football Team
This one is a deep, deep sleeper. Jaret Patterson is someone we brought up during the first week of the season. It was a long-shot player who showed he can be a workhorse while in college. The Washington Football Team said a lot of nice things about Patterson coming into the season, but until recently, he had an extremely small role in the offense.
Patterson was on a mission to build more of a spot in this offense, but with J.D. McKissic and Antonio Gibson there, it’s hard to predict how much Patterson is going to play. The good news is Washington is playing the Las Vegas Raiders, who give up 27 fantasy points per game to the position. Ron Rivera will allow Patterson to get a few more snaps this game, and he could even get a surprise touchdown. This is a minimum player on a daily fantasy team to take an absolute flier on.
8. Alex Collins, Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks offense is an absolute mess. Russell Wilson looks super bad. Like, he literally looks like one of the bottom ten quarterbacks in the league. It’s really stalled the Seahawks offense in general. This also caused a terrible fantasy day for Alex Collins. He had 7 carries for 14 yards and a fumble. Depending on the scoring in your league, he might have been negative.
It’s time for Collins and Wilson to finally find chemistry and build something for this offense. They are facing its biggest rival in the San Francisco 49ers. The Seahawks are just trying to salvage respectability this season, but playing spoiler can be oddly motivating. The 49ers are looking at a playoff berth right now, but if the Seahawks can get something going on offense, they can really hurt their rival’s chances. This should be a get-right game for the Seahawks offense.
