7. Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense looked absolutely awful on Sunday against the New York Giants. Boston Scott still had a huge week last week. He had 64 yards and a touchdown, but he did have a huge fumble that really cost the Eagles the game. Now, Scott hasn’t practiced all week due to a non-COVID-related illness.

That opens the door for Miles Sanders and Kenneth Gainwell. Gainwell only had 16% of the snaps on offense last week, and the Eagles tried him out in the kick return game, so it’s safe to say that Miles Sanders is the man in the backfield if Scott is out or even limited. Sanders has had a strange season, but he was extremely efficient last week against the Giants. If he can do that against the Jets, it’s going to be a huge day offensively.

6. Damien Harris, New England Patriots

Yeah, sure, we told you to stay far away from this matchup, but Damien Harris is fully healthy, and he’s been really good this season when he was really healthy. Rhamondre Stevenson has really emerged, but this Buffalo Bills defense is on another level. The Patriots need their best runner on Monday night, and that is Damien Harris.

There are only four games this entire season where Harris didn’t score a touchdown. Harris is tied for fifth in rushing touchdowns in the entire league. He’s been able to find paydirt often. It seems like the Bills are going to do everything in their power to stop Mac Jones on national television. They want to make a statement, and “stopping the run” is not really a statement. So, this will open up holes for Harris as the Bills go hard on the pass rush.
