Golden State Warriors

Let’s be honest, if you have been a Vikings fan for this long, maybe football is not your sport. Maybe you should watch a different sport. There would be an urge to point you towards maybe a different Minnesota-based team, however, looking at the Twins and the Timberwolves makes one think we need to relocate your fandom entirely.

The Golden State Warriors may not be as successful and dominant as they were just four or five years ago, but they are still a fun team to watch play and a team that could be competitive at a high level in the next few years. Steph Curry has transcended being the bane of everyone’s existence and is now a highlight reel that just never stops playing. Klay Thompson has returned from his forever injury, Draymond Green is still the biggest bully on Earth, and the addition of Andrew Wiggins has proven extremely helpful on defense.

The Warriors are currently the top seed in the Western Conference, and where it seems unlikely they stay there all season, they are all but guaranteed a playoff spot this season, making them a team with serious championship aspirations. Vikings fans, this is your chance to win a title.
