14. The Minneapolis Miracle

This play deserves a spot if not for Joe Buck losing his mind on the play-by-play alone. The game was pretty fantastic, too.

The Saints and the playoffs have gone together like oil and water over the last several seasons. Minnesota built a 17-0 first half lead over the Saints. New Orleans came all the way back in the second half, and took a 21-20 lead. The two teams would exchange field goals in the final two minutes to make it a 24-23 game.

The Vikings got the ball back with 25 seconds remaining on the clock, and little progress was made until there were 10 seconds remaining. Case Keenum threw the ball to Stefon Diggs on the sideline, who made the catch. Saints safety Marcus Williams blatantly missed the tackle on Diggs, instead hitting Ken Crawley. The missed tackle opened the field for Diggs and he ran down the sideline as Joe Buck yelled the infamous words “Diggs! Sideline! Touchdown! Unbelievable! Vikings win it!”

The Vikings advanced to the NFC Championship Game to face the Eagles. While they lost in somewhat convincing fashion, the play in the Divisional round is one of the greatest in recent memory, and helped solidify Diggs as one of the best receivers in the NFL with his game-winning play.
