24. The Miracle at the Meadowlands II

As crazy as the first iteration of crazy game-ending plays in this rivalry was, the remake of the movie was better.

First off, the game itself was amazing. The Eagles rallied after trailing 24-3 at halftime and outscored the Giants 35-7 in the second half. A whopping 28 of those 35 points came in the fourth quarter. Michael Vick found Brent Celek for a 65 yard touchdown to make it 31-17. Two minutes later, Vick ran it in to make it a one score game. A Jeremy Maclin touchdown reception made it 31-31.

The last few minutes of this game were insane. It’s clear that Tom Coughlin didn’t want Matt Dodge kicking to DeSean Jackson, but he does anyway. Jackson’s return is also incredible. He bobbles the ball as he fields the punt, back pedals a few yards before finding a whole and busting through.

Jackson made it clear of any Giants tacklers, where he then ran down the goal line as the clock struck triple zero before running into the end zone. The Eagles completed a huge comeback after trailing by 21 points on two occasions, and the Miracle at the Meadowlands II was born.
