2. CeeDee Lamb will score two touchdowns

Amari Cooper was back on the field for the Cowboys last week, but Lamb was clearly Prescott’s No. 1 target. He paced the team’s wide receiver group with seven catches for 89 yards against the New Orleans secondary.

Cooper’s performance should improve as he continues to recover from his COVID-induced absence, but Lamb’s burst from last week shows that he’s ready to become the guy in Dallas’ receiver room. He’s going to back up last week’s strong showing with an even bigger day against Washington.

The end zone eluded the former Oklahoma star last Thursday, but he’s going to make up for it by getting to paydirt twice this week at Washington. Look for Lamb to catch one ball over the top for a score while adding another touchdown by breaking off a long run after the catch.

Lamb’s talent isn’t a secret around the NFL, but he’s got a strong chance to emerge as a legitimate superstar down the stretch. This could be viewed as the young wideout’s “coming out party” if he torches Washington’s secondary as much as he’s capable of.
