Running Back 1: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Kansas City Chiefs ($6,100)

Clyde Edwards-Helaire has averaged 13 carries and has seen solid passing game work since returning to the Chiefs’ lineup from injury. While he doesn’t get the carry volume that a lot of high-scoring fantasy backs, he’s efficient with his touches and his passing game work gives him a high floor in PPR leagues.

Edwards-Helaire gets a Raiders team allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs this season, so the matchup is incredibly positive for the second-year back. Expect him to post top-20 numbers for us with upside to finish in the top 10.

Running Back 2: Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers ($5,900)

Chuba Hubbard steps into a high-volume role yet again with Christian McCaffrey’s season now over due to an injury. Through Weeks 3 to 8, Hubbard was a top-20 PPR running back. He should return to that form this week now that he is leading Carolina’s rushing attack, which has pumped out an abundance of fantasy points in recent years.

Hubbard goes up against the 22nd-ranked Atlanta run defense, who allow the eighth-most fantasy points to running backs. The volume is there, and the matchup is there. Sign me up.
