DraftKings NFL 2021: Best lineup for Week 14
Tight End: Evan Engram, New York Giants ($3,500)
Evan Engram has had at least five targets in three straight games. This is likely due to pure necessity, as the Giants have had injuries to Kadarius Toney, Sterling Shepard, and Kenny Golladay over the past few weeks. However, this has led to Engram becoming a higher volume option in New York’s passing game than he has been.
Engram’s matchup with the Chargers is a plus, as they allow the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends. He’s a cheap option with a lot of upside this week.
Flex: Dontrell Hilliard, Tennessee Titans ($5,300)
Dontrell Hilliard may be the answer to a Derrick Henry-less backfield in Tennessee. In two straight games, he’s had over 80 scrimmage yards. Most notably, he ran all over New England in his last game, rushing 12 times for 131 yards and a touchdown.
Hilliard is in a timeshare of sorts with D’Onta Foreman, who did out-carry him 19-12, but Hilliard is the preferred passing down back, which gives him a higher floor against the 21st ranked Jacksonville run defense.
D/ST: Kansas City Chiefs ($3,300)
Nobody would have expected that the ‘Chiefense’ would be the strength of this team, but it’s Week 14 and here we are. The Chiefs’ defense has totally flipped the script and has become a dominant unit, only allowing 13.8 points per game in their last six games, compared to the 29.3 they allowed in their first six.
This week, they play the Raiders who they just recently held to only 14 points and made life miserable for Derek Carr. Expect them to do the same this week, this time at Arrowhead.`
