1. The Packers defense will pitch a shutout

A quick look at the Bears’ offensive depth chart makes it clear that Chicago suffers from a severe lack of offensive playmakers. A potential return from star wide receiver Allen Robinson could help that, but it won’t be enough to help the Bears move the ball consistently on the road at Green Bay.

In fact, there’s a great chance for the Packers to notch an impressive shutout. It’s hard to keep any offense scoreless in the modern NFL. If Green Bay can manage to do that to Chicago it would serve as notice to the rest of the league that their defense is a force to be reckoned with.

Kenny Clark should be able to control the line of scrimmage from his nose tackle position. Gary and Preston Smith should handle things for the linebacking corps. That means it’s up to the combination of Eric Stokes and Kevin King to keep Chicago off the scoreboard from their starting cornerback spots.

Aaron Rodgers is mad at the Packers' coaching staff (again). dark. Next

The pressure Green Bay can bring against the Bears is going to make things a lot easier for their secondary. The end result should be forcing several turnovers and frustrating the Chicago offense at every opportunity. The Bears might score a cheap touchdown late but otherwise, they could get blanked in this rivalry game.
