Bold Prediction #1: Terry McLaurin will go off on the Cowboys

The Washington Football Team learned that their entire season is on the shoulders of Taylor Heinicke after Ryan Fitzpatrick was ruled out for the season. It’s been pretty good with Heinicke under center as of late. Washington has won four straight games, including a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team has been riding high.

You know who hasn’t been riding high during this winning streak? Let’s go over the season for McLaurin, a player who was predicted to become one of the best receivers in the league this season. He has four games with over 20 points in PPR leagues. That’s great! He has three games with between 10 and 12 points. That’s fine for an average. Then, he has five games where he lays an absolute egg and fails to get to 10 points even in PPR leagues.

It’s been even worse as of late. In his last game, he got five points. If people are playing in standard leagues, he only had two points.

This week, he will go back to “Scary Terry” against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys haven’t been very good at passing defense despite the publicity surrounding Trevon Diggs. They have allowed more than 2,100 hundred yards on just 145 receptions. McLaurin can make the big play, and Heinicke will look for it if Ron Rivera lets him. This seems like a great matchup for everyone involved, and you should start McLaurin with confidence.
