Bold Prediction #3: Darren Waller comes back with a vengeance

Sticking with this game, Darren Waller was just upgraded from week to week to day to day. That means he’s very close when the team is making those assumptions before Wednesday’s practice. Waller should be a go in a game that is of utter importance to the Raiders.

Derek Carr misses his best weapon. Waller hasn’t been the superstar he was last season, but he’s still one of the best tight ends in the league. He only broke double digit fantasy points twice this season in standard leagues. He hasn’t had that monster performance this season. That changes this week.

The Chiefs have allowed 750 yards receiving to the tight end position this season. Waller did not have a great game against the Chiefs the last time out, but this one comes with a little more desperation. The Raiders haven’t found a way to make Waller the destroyer of worlds we thought he might be, but with Kenyan Drake now out for the season, the Raiders are running out of offensive options.

Maybe the Chiefs lay off Waller at first and allow him to ball out in the first half. That’s all fantasy owners need from Waller. He’s been a frustrating player at times this season, but this week he will win you the game.
