3. The secondary will pick off Mike Glennon three times

Daniel Jones is set to miss this game which means Glennon should be in line for another start. That’s a big reason why Dallas defenders will be salivating at the thought of lining up against the Giants’ offense this week.

The Cowboys’ secondary, in particular, should be anxious to take advantage of Glennon’s desire to push the ball down the field. He has a lot of confidence in his arm strength and that gets him into trouble. Trevon Diggs, in particular, should fancy his chances to get his hands on a throw or two this week.

The end result will be an ugly stat line for Glennon. Dallas is going to pick him off at least three times. A few of those errors will be forced by pressure from the Cowboys’ defensive line. One or two of the opportunities will be chalked up to Glennon’s need to be aggressive.

An even bolder call here would be to say that Dallas will take one of these interceptions to the end zone for a score. A pick-six isn’t a lock, but it’s a defensive possibility for the Cowboys. They only need a slight break to turn one interception into a stylish touchdown.
