Bold Prediction #5: Bite the bullet, start the Texans defense

Starting the Texans anything in fantasy this season is a bad look. They are the least talented team in football. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars offense is broken. Trevor Lawrence can’t do anything right, and the Jags have completely abandoned the running game. Urban Meyer is not an NFL coach, and the inability of this team’s offense is proof.

The Jaguars just need to get out of this season in one piece. Teams looking to stream defenses need to take advantage of this matchup.

The last time the Texans and Jaguars faced off, Lawrence threw three interceptions. He broke that career high last week when he threw four interceptions against a shorthanded Titans team. This is a team to target when it comes to opposing defenses. They are going to be fruitful for fantasy players throughout the playoffs.

It’s a hard pill to swallow playing the Houston Texans in a playoff spot, but the defense has been good against bad teams. They even got 15 and 16 points in back-to-back weeks just last month. Things didn’t go as planned last week for the Texans, but expect a bounce back this week against a useless Jaguars offense.
