2. D’Onta Foreman – Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have been surviving in the running game since Derrick Henry went down with an injury. The offense still looks weird and disjointed, but they’ve survived. They are still en route to a playoff berth as long as they can survive the next few weeks without him. They’ve largely survived thanks to the services of D’Onta Foreman.

Foreman was given 13 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. He got 47 yards and scored a touchdown. It’s not the best week, but he also added two catches for 15 yards. It was a very serviceable week for Foreman and the Titans, who at one point just wanted to get through the game unscathed. This week, Foreman is facing the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have surprisingly allowed 11 touchdowns on the ground. With the Titans passing game still a little worse for wear, expect them to focus on the running game.

1. James Robinson – Jacksonville Jaguars

Like a fox in the night, Urban Meyer is gone from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Apparently kicking the kicker is one controversy too many. Now, the offense can try some new things under Darrell Bevell. He was the offensive coordinator, and he knows the talent he has in James Robinson. It’s possible he was the one who decided to stop running the ball, but it seems more likely that was a Meyer decision.

James Robinson is likely going to be relied upon now that Meyer is out the door. He’s the best offensive weapon the Jaguars have right now, and they are just trying to get their feet wet this week while Bevell figures everything out. It’s not easy switching head coaches on a Thursday before a Sunday game, but that’s where we are for the Jags. The Jaguars will rely on Robinson more this week than any week before.
