10 TE sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 15
By Jakob Ashlin
8. Brevin Jordan, Houston Texans
Rostered: 0.6%
After being inactive for the first seven weeks of the season, rookie tight end Brevin Jordan has appeared in the last six games for the Texans, and he has scored a touchdown in three games.
He had his best performance of the season last Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. Jordan had four receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown on a career-high seven targets.
The Texans’ lack of offensive production will ultimately hamper his fantasy upside. Nevertheless, the 2-11 team should continue to utilize Jordan, as the regular season winds to a close.
He has appeal in deeper leagues this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
7. Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
Rostered: 46.4%
Not too long ago, Hunter Henry was locked in as a TE1 in most fantasy football leagues. Earlier this season, he had an unbelievable stretch, in which he scored seven touchdowns in seven games.
Unfortunately, his fantasy production has dramatically declined over the past three games, but I am still not going to give up on him.
First of all, Henry’s fantasy value primarily stemmed from his touchdown production, and Henry was still targeted in the red zone in two of those games. The lone exception was New England’s 14-10 victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 13. In that game, Mac Jones had only 19 total passing yards, so I would not find that indicative of Henry’s upcoming fantasy performances.
Henry is a nice under-the-radar option this Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts.
