Cowboys bold predictions, Tony Pollard

1. Tony Pollard will rush for over 100 yards

Ezekiel Elliott remains the biggest name in the Cowboys’ backfield, but Pollard is the far more efficient player. He’s going to see a lot of successful carries in the second half while Dallas tries to salt this game away on the ground.

The ideal game script for the Cowboys will be to see Pollard gash the Washington defense with big, slashing runs in the fourth quarter to turn this game into a complete blowout. It’s easy to envision that Dallas dream turning into a reality.

The Cowboys’ big offensive line hasn’t played up to its full potential this season, but they could be getting healthy at the right time. Teeing off against the Washington front is just what the group needs to build some much-needed confidence before the postseason arrives.

Pollard’s ability to hit the hold quickly with real momentum will be difficult for Washington to stop. He won’t rack up 25 carries in this one, but a couple of 20+ yard rushes will help him top the century mark on the night. He won’t be Dallas’ biggest offensive star in the first half but expect him to dominate Washington down the stretch.
